First Trailer for Beyonce's Netflix Movie 'Homecoming' Offers Intimate Look Into Her Life

Beyonce is coming to Netflix!

On Monday, the streaming service dropped the first trailer for Homecoming, which will feature an intimate look at the superstar's iconic performance at Coachella in 2018.

According to the press release, Homecoming will feature interviews and candid footage that detail the "preparation and powerful intent" behind the performance, which "paid homage to America's historically black colleges and universities" and helped to create a "cultural movement."

The trailer, which features a voice over from an old interview with the late renowned poet and author Maya Angelou, shows Beyonce performing, smiling with her husband, JAY-Z, and playing with their children, Blue, 7, and 1-year-old twins Rumi and Sir.

Fans will also get a peek at Beyonce rehearsing, working out in the gym and having stripped down, intimate moments with those closest to her, before she takes the stage for one of the biggest shows of her career. The concert portion of the film will mark the first time that fans can watch her Coachella performance since it was live-streamed during the event.
