Adam Levine Debuts New Mohawk on 'The Voice' and Fans Are Divided
One of the most controversial parts of Monday's new episode of The Voice was the introduction of the new "Cross Battle" rounds, where singers from different teams duke it out in lyrical combat.
However, the second-biggest controversy surrounded Adam Levine's new flat-top mohawk, and it left a lot of fans split over how to feel about the new 'do, which he continued to rock on Tuesday's episode.
On Monday, Levine debuted the bold look while rocking a stylish black suit and patterned shirt, and the whole ensemble gave off an edgy-chic vibe.
However, on Tuesday night, Levine opted for a more dressed-down look, rocking a light grey denim shirt over a white-T and black slacks, and even he didn't look super thrilled sporting the grungier look.
Levine accompanied the semi-shaggy mohawk with a thick growth of salt-and-pepper scruff, which added to the online debate regarding his new style.
Even Levine's fellow coaches made sure to get in on mocking the singer's new look, and compared him to Mr. T, with Blake Shelton quipping, "I pity the Fool who challenges my team right now."
Shelton -- Levine's biggest antagonist and frenemy -- actually had a great time calling attention to the star's style, which frequently changes from episode to episode.
